📋 Description

• Partner with field sales teams to educate key recommenders and drive recommendations, market share, and sales growth • Cultivate relationships with specialty referral hospitals to expand nutrition category sales within surrounding general practices • Build relationships with regional medical leadership and participate in high-impact events for the veterinary diet business • Establish and nurture a network of Key Opinion Leader Royal Canin advocates and potential speakers • Deliver Royal Canin nutrition education to veterinarians, technicians, and hospital staff • Collaborate and jointly plan with regional and strategic account sales teams to grow the veterinary business unit • Serve as a trusted technical resource, delivering expert support and guidance • Represent Royal Canin at veterinary conferences and events • Provide expert nutritional case consultations • Adapt territory and regional coverage as needed • Support field-based teams through local and air travel • Perform additional duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (or VMD) with an active license in at least one state • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a veterinary practitioner, including internships, co-ops, and/or residency • Preference for small or companion animal practice • Exceptional scientific communication and presentation skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and OneNote • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision • Willingness and ability to travel extensively, up to 75% within the assigned territory • Eligibility for a company vehicle • Flexibility to travel during nights and weekends • Ability to independently manage travel arrangements • Ability to work from home effectively when not traveling • Must be willing and able to travel to fulfill the role • Mars does not sponsor visas for this role • This position is not eligible for relocation benefits
