📋 Description

• Partner with go-to-market teammates on discovery, solution design, technical validation, and customer-facing problem solving throughout the sales process • Assess workloads, architecture needs, infrastructure constraints, performance expectations, and implementation tradeoffs • Lead technical conversations and answer deep product and infrastructure questions • Help customers understand why the platform fits their use case • Identify technical gaps, dependencies, and delivery risks early and address them cross-functionally • Build demos, solution briefs, technical collateral, playbooks, FAQs, and other scalable technical-sales assets • Turn customer feedback, objections, and recurring requirements into input for roadmap, product improvements, and packaging • Support onboarding and expansion to accelerate successful customer usage and deepen technical adoption • Build processes, documentation, and workflows that make solutions more visible and repeatable • Use AI tools to accelerate research, solution development, documentation, and technical communication • Shape standards, tools, and the operating model for solutions engineering at Massed Compute

🎯 Requirements

• Strong ability to understand technical products and explain them clearly to sophisticated customers • Experience translating messy customer requirements into concrete technical solutions and next steps • Comfort moving between pre-sales conversations, technical architecture work, and internal cross-functional execution • Strong written and verbal communication in customer-facing technical contexts • Ability to earn trust with commercial and engineering stakeholders • Good judgment balancing technical and commercial priorities • Track record of creating reusable assets and processes • Comfort operating with limited structure while creating structure for others • High ownership and follow-through • Fluency with AI tools • Typically 5–10+ years of professional experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, forward-deployed engineering, technical account management, product engineering, developer relations, or a similarly high-responsibility role • Experience at a high-growth technology company, rapidly scaling startup, or similarly demanding environment • Experience with highly technical products, ideally in cloud infrastructure, AI, developer tools, data infrastructure, or adjacent markets • Experience partnering closely with customers and internal product or engineering teams • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience • Understanding of compute and AI infrastructure deployments • Experience with cloud infrastructure, GPU workloads, model training or inference, cluster environments, or adjacent technical systems • Experience building demos, prototypes, or technical proof-of-concept environments • Fluency with AI tools such as Claude, Codex, and related workflow automation tools • Engineering or computer science background paired with customer-facing instincts
