📋 Description

• Provide overall strategic and operational leadership for the solar construction division • Direct, coordinate, and evaluate division operations • Develop and implement the business unit strategic plan • Drive division profitability and client satisfaction • Interview, hire, train, retain, evaluate, reward, and discipline employees • Lead, promote, and comply with Company safety policies and procedures • Manage relationships with key vendors, owners, and clients • Confer with the Safety Director regarding jobsite safety issues • Hold senior divisional management accountable for resolving subcontractor, materials, contract, and trade conflicts • Maintain communication and reporting across staff; monitor job progress, schedules, and subcontractor performance • Coordinate field operations through management of field personnel • Manage and supervise teams directing Project Managers and Field Superintendents • Provide ongoing performance feedback and conduct timely annual appraisals • Support implementation of team members' ideas, policies, and procedures • Confer with senior executives on business continuity and succession planning • Serve on the Executive team and attend executive staff meetings • Attend relevant trade shows and conferences • Visit jobsites as needed • Perform other duties requested by senior leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 15 years of construction experience in large industrial construction companies or similar/related industries • Previous experience in renewable energy/EPC Construction preferred • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Construction Management, Engineering, or related major, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Knowledge of strategic planning, organizational development, and operational excellence within construction and renewable energy sectors • Expertise in building high-performing teams, fostering inclusive workplace cultures, and aligning talent strategies with business goals • Knowledge of financial management, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance in large-scale infrastructure projects • Visionary leadership capable of inspiring, influencing, and aligning cross-functional teams • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills • Proficiency in change management, conflict resolution, and coaching for performance and career development • Ability to cultivate accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement • Ability to mentor and develop emerging leaders and create succession pipelines • Ability to translate strategic vision into actionable plans with measurable project execution and team engagement results • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Primavera, Viewpoint, and construction software • Ability to follow Company Zero Injury principles and take responsibility for workplace health and safety • Position may be subject to pre-employment background check and drug testing
