📋 Description

• Act as a key liaison between finance, brand, and project management to ensure reporting and data are shared with appropriate teams and revenue is properly recognized • Serve as the primary day-to-day finance contact for assigned clients, accounts, and project teams • Partner with Account Management, Production, Business Affairs, Project Management, Media, and Accounting throughout each job’s financial lifecycle • Participate in client finance, budget, billing, WIP, and job-status meetings • Provide visibility into project budgets, actual costs, commitments, billings, collections, and remaining available funds • Identify financial risks, unresolved issues, and opportunities, escalating material matters as appropriate • Own the financial setup and maintenance of client jobs and projects in financial and project-management systems • Review scopes of work, estimates, fee arrangements, billing schedules, budgets, and client authorizations before opening jobs • Maintain job documentation and ensure financial records align with approved scopes, estimates, change orders, and purchase orders • Coordinate job-code creation and coding instructions across participating departments • Identify missing vendor invoices and remaining financial obligations • Support scope changes and change orders so incremental work is authorized, budgeted, and billable • Perform regular job-level reconciliations • Prepare, review, and submit client invoices and maintain billing schedules and trackers • Reconcile proposed billings to budgets, recognized revenue, WIP, costs, prior invoices, and client authorization • Resolve rejected invoices, missing documentation, portal issues, purchase-order discrepancies, and billing exceptions • Review WIP, unbilled costs and fees, deferred revenue, and project balances during monthly close • Maintain WIP schedules and investigate aged or unsupported balances • Support monthly revenue-recognition calculations and documentation • Monitor accounts receivable and invoice status; follow up on outstanding invoices • Investigate payment delays, short payments, deductions, and client disputes • Support cash forecasting and client profitability analysis

🎯 Requirements

• Serve as the primary day-to-day finance contact for assigned clients, accounts, and project teams • Experience with client finance, budgets, billing, work in progress (WIP), accounts receivable, and revenue recognition processes • Ability to review scopes of work, client estimates, fee arrangements, billing schedules, approved budgets, purchase orders, and written authorizations • Ability to perform job-level financial reconciliations • Ability to prepare, review, and submit client invoices • Ability to investigate aged, unsupported, or potentially non-billable balances • Ability to support monthly revenue-recognition calculations and documentation • Ability to monitor accounts receivable, collections, payment delays, short payments, invoice deductions, and client disputes • Ability to assist with client profitability analysis, including labor performance, production margins, pass-through costs, over-service, write-offs, and scope changes • Legally authorized to work in the US
