📋 Description

• Manage an assigned territory supporting reimbursement and patient services for a specific drug • Assist physician offices with Benefit Investigation, Prior Authorization, Claims Assistance, and Appeals • Educate office staff on payer landscapes and available services through remote interactions and on-site training • Build relationships with physician offices and manufacturer representatives • Provide on-site and on-demand education, including Lunch and Learns and Dinner presentations • Educate on benefit investigation, prior authorization, support center services, Medicare and commercial coverage, and patient communication streams • Provide reimbursement support covering case management, billing and coding, claims submission, specialty pharmacy, medical benefit interpretation, medical necessity, copay assistance, and patient assistance programs • Collaborate with case managers on cases and escalations • Set appointments, complete outbound calls to targeted offices, and assist with backlog casework • Interface with physicians and manufacturer representatives to exchange patient- and provider-specific information • Track all interactions and activities in the FRM CRM and hub system • Monitor territory and program performance and report trends to management and clients • Research and compile provider and manufacturer representative information for reimbursement databases • Create facility databases for new providers in the FRM CRM • Travel extensively to support client expectations and account coordination

🎯 Requirements

• Candidate must live within the St. Louis, MO or New Orleans, LA area • 4-year degree in a related field or equivalent experience • 4+ years of healthcare-related reimbursement experience • Strong medical reimbursement experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy • Healthcare industry experience, including insurance verification, prior authorizations, and/or claim adjudication • Experience in a physician’s office or clinic • Medicare and commercial insurance coverage experience • Ability to deliver and document benefit investigation outcomes and relay status reports regularly • Proven presentation skills and experience • Ability to handle multiple priorities and strong organizational skills • Computer literacy, including PowerPoint and web meeting experience • Ability to travel 80% (four days per week) by automobile or plane • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record/MVR • Ability to work remotely from home and handle possible prolonged sitting or keyboard work • Previous field experience, specialty pharmacy experience, and account management experience are advantageous
