📋 Description

• Support Neuromodulation Pain and Target Drug Delivery Therapies through surgical coverage, follow-up support, troubleshooting, customer service, and education • Represent Medtronic as device specialist during surgical procedures • Ensure required equipment and products are available • Provide technical support and device selection • Perform programming and testing of device systems • Manage patients through all phases of the clinical process and educate them on Medtronic products • Provide clinical support during surgeries, re-programmings, troubleshooting, and follow-ups in hospitals and clinics • Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on products and therapies • Respond to device-related inquiries from customers and patients • Complete required event reporting and documentation using Medtronic technology tools • Manage inventory for case coverage, including transactions, cycle counts, product retrievals, and expiration/hold controls • Contribute to quarterly district, regional, and national initiatives • Visit accounts and maintain relationships with office staff and healthcare providers • Place orders for pending purchase orders and product replacement • Work with materials management to collect purchase orders for covered cases • Assist management and Sales Training with training new district employees • Use Excel, mobile phones, iPads, laptops, and/or Samsung tablets • Manage business expenses and budgets • Travel to cover district cases and occasionally other districts

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 6 years of clinical or medical sales experience; or Associate's degree with a minimum of 4 years of clinical or medical sales experience; or Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of clinical or medical sales experience • Required to function using healthcare universal precautions to minimize exposure to infectious disease and radiation • Ability to work weekends, evenings and nights as required and undertake overnight travel within own or neighboring districts • Ability to work efficiently and autonomously with little direction outside of clinical events • Ability to attend national meetings, district meetings and other training as requested • Ability to wear a 7-9 lbs protective lead apron for extended periods in the operating room • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs • Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for 8+ hours per day • Ability to bend/stoop, squat and balance frequently • Close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus • Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy • Driving record will be reviewed as part of the application • Must be able to drive approximately 50% of the time within the assigned territory and may require overnight travel • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required • Roles below Principal level require unrestricted U.S. work authorization at hire and throughout employment
