📋 Description

• Support Neuromodulation Pain and Targeted Drug Delivery Therapies through surgical coverage, follow-up support, troubleshooting, customer service, and education • Represent Medtronic as a device specialist during surgical procedures • Ensure required equipment and products are available • Provide technical support and device selection • Perform programming and testing of device systems • Manage patients through all phases of the clinical process and educate them on Medtronic products • Provide clinical support during surgeries, re-programmings, troubleshooting, and follow-ups in hospitals and clinics • Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on products and therapies • Coordinate individual teaching sessions, formal in-services, education programs, seminars, and outside symposia • Respond promptly and professionally to device-related customer and patient inquiries • Attend clinical events outside normal business hours, including weekends and after hours, as needed • Adhere to company policies and complete required event reporting and documentation using Medtronic technology tools • Manage inventory for case coverage, including transactions, cycle counts, product retrievals, inventory turnover, and product expiration/hold controls • Contribute to quarterly district, regional, and national initiatives with colleagues and Leadership • Visit accounts regularly to establish and maintain relationships with office staff and healthcare providers • Place orders for pending purchase orders and product replacement • Work with materials management to collect purchase orders for covered cases • Maintain understanding of applicable quality policies and system items • Assist Management and Sales Training with onboarding and training new district employees • Use Excel, mobile phone, iPad, laptop, and/or Samsung tablet regularly • Manage business expenses and budgets effectively and within timelines • Travel within the district and occasionally to other districts as directed

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 6 years of clinical or medical sales experience; or Associate's degree with a minimum of 4 years of clinical or medical sales experience; or Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of clinical or medical sales experience • Registered nurse or HCP with experience in a sterile environment is nice to have • Clinical experience with implantable neurological products and patient care is nice to have • Experience servicing medical personnel on product use is nice to have • Experience with a medical device or pharmaceutical company and clinical experience in neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedic, operating room, pain management, or home health care is nice to have • Understanding of basic reimbursement and healthcare environment is nice to have • Must function using healthcare universal precautions to minimize exposure to infectious disease and radiation • Ability to serve as primary resource for scheduled and unscheduled clinical events, including periodic weekends, evenings, nights, and overnight travel • Ability to work efficiently and autonomously with little direction outside clinical events • Ability to attend national meetings, district meetings, and other training • Ability to wear a 7–9 lbs protective lead apron for extended periods in the operating room • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs • Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for 8+ hours per day • Ability to bend/stoop, squat, and balance frequently • Required close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment • Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy • Must be able to drive approximately 50% of the time within the assigned territory and may require overnight travel • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization required at hire and throughout employment • Foreign baccalaureate degrees must satisfy 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A)
