📋 Description

• Serve as the primary technical representative for Medtronic EP Technologies Affera customers and sales and clinical teams • Perform technical assessment, installation, support, servicing, maintenance and de-installation of Affera systems at customer sites • Provide technical assistance to physicians or technologists during clinical procedures • Perform installations, inspections, verification, corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance • Maintain and submit technical records and documentation according to regulatory requirements • Provide field experience and database updates to office colleagues • Improve service processes and develop and maintain service documentation and procedures • Provide input to Engineering and Manufacturing for Affera product upgrades • Develop and deliver technical training to distributors, partners, agents and qualified customer representatives • Participate in design improvement discussions and support new product introductions • Investigate, analyze and identify trends in technical data related to Affera products • Participate in special projects requested by the US Field Service Manager or designee • Provide technical training to physicians, EP technicians and department managers at customer sites

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required • 4 years of technical, clinical field service, technical internship or clinical customer support experience • Ability to apply electrical, mechanical, thermodynamic and biomedical engineering principles to troubleshooting • Ability to troubleshoot and technically diagnose medical equipment • Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills • Excellent time management and attention to detail • Flexibility to travel frequently, including possible international locations • Ability to work independently without direct supervision • Extensive face-to-face customer contact and interaction • Ability to work closely with customers and develop plans to increase confidence and satisfaction with Affera products and services • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization required at time of hire and throughout employment • For baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
