📋 Description

• Serve as the primary technical representative for Medtronic Cardiovascular customers and sales and clinical teams • Perform technical assessment, installation, support, servicing, maintenance, and de-installation of cardiovascular systems at customer sites • Provide technical assistance to physicians or technologists during clinical procedures • Perform installations, inspections, verification, corrective maintenance, and preventive maintenance on CV consoles and systems • Maintain and submit technical records and documentation according to regulatory requirements • Provide field experience and database updates to office colleagues • Improve field service processes and develop and maintain service documentation and procedures • Provide input to Engineering and Manufacturing for cardiovascular product upgrades • Develop and deliver technical training to distributors, partners, agents, and technically qualified customer representatives • Support new product introductions and design improvement discussions • Investigate, analyze, and identify trends in technical data related to cardiovascular products • Participate in special projects assigned by the U.S. Field Service Manager or designee • Provide technical training to physicians, EP technicians, and department managers at customer sites

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required • 4 years of technical, clinical field service, or clinical customer support experience • Must reside within 60 minutes of Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) • Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy • Driving record will be reviewed as part of the application • Must be able to drive approximately 75% of the time within the assigned territory • Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and throughout employment • Ability to apply electrical, mechanical, thermodynamic, and biomedical engineering principles to troubleshooting • Ability to troubleshoot and technically diagnose medical equipment • Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills • Experience teaching technical subject matter • Excellent time management and attention to detail • Flexibility to travel frequently • Ability to work independently without direct supervision • Extensive face-to-face customer contact and interaction
