• Drive territory growth by developing and executing account strategies to achieve or exceed sales goals, expand existing business, generate new opportunities, address customer needs, and position Medtronic solutions against competitors • Provide clinical and technical expertise as a trusted TAVR subject matter expert, supporting implant procedures including scrubbing in, valve loading, and case support • Educate customers on product indications and safe device use, helping sites achieve procedural success and adoption growth • Maintain knowledge of CoreValve, TAVR therapies, IFUs, clinical literature, competitive products, industry trends, and the broader cardiovascular portfolio • Partner with R&D on future innovations and product enhancements and represent Medtronic at industry meetings • Guide implant teams, support case planning and execution, interpret imaging and diagnostic data, and ensure safe, effective CoreValve use • Deliver physician and staff education, support training programs, participate in case observations and educational events, and advise on TAVR therapies and best practices • Coordinate case coverage, maintain account records, forecast implants, manage inventory logistics, secure purchase orders, and ensure hospital credentialing compliance • Provide market intelligence and customer insights to internal stakeholders • Support new hire training, report product quality concerns, and deliver customer presentations • Travel on short notice, including overnight stays up to 50–70% of the time • Perform duties involving extended sitting, standing, and walking for up to 8 hours daily and operate safely in clinical environments
• High school diploma or equivalent and 8+ years of relevant experience, or associate's degree and 6+ years, or bachelor's degree and 4+ years • Relevant experience in sales, clinical, or related roles within medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences • Must reside within the assigned Utah/Idaho territory • Ability to travel to multiple customer accounts throughout the region • Ability to travel on short notice, including overnight stays up to 50–70% of the time, depending on geography • Valid driver's license and active insurance required • Driving record must meet company standards • Experience selling interventional or surgical products preferred • Demonstrated success in a previous sales role and strong influence and selling skills preferred • Business and clinical acumen with experience leading a sophisticated cardiac or endovascular procedure preferred • Understanding of cardiac and vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology preferred • Interventional cardiac or vascular experience preferred • Endovascular, EVAR, TEVAR, cardiac surgery, or SAVR experience preferred • Experience communicating product market advantages to physicians and hospital administration preferred • Successful new-device launch and market-development experience preferred • Experience calling on C-suite customers preferred • Experience teaching and educating medical personnel, peers, and technical support personnel preferred • Imaging interpretation experience with TTE/TEE, CT, or angiograms preferred • Computer proficiency and ability to perform CT reconstruction with CT programs preferred • For baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, degree must satisfy 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) • Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at hire and throughout employment; sponsorship is not offered below Principal level • Ability to work in healthcare settings and comply with hospital or clinic credentialing requirements • Ability to use personal protective equipment and work around infectious diseases or radiation
