📋 Description

• Write challenging single-turn prompts in the nuclear domain, labelled as benign, dual-use, or adversarial • Evaluate model responses against a defined policy standard • Judge whether responses handled technical requests correctly • Write reference answers and explain the technical reasoning behind correct responses • Create prompts testing whether frontier AI models can distinguish legitimate questions from genuinely dangerous requests • Provide written rationales understandable to non-specialists • Read and write about misuse scenarios for sustained periods

🎯 Requirements

• Fuel-cycle depth plus exposure to how nuclear material is controlled, accounted for, or diverted • Safeguards and nonproliferation experience strongly preferred • Relevant background such as Safeguards Analyst, Nuclear Engineer (Fuel Cycle), Nuclear Security Engineer, Nuclear Forensics Scientist, or Nonproliferation Analyst • Experience with material accountancy, inspection regimes, Additional Protocol, enrichment, reprocessing, criticality, MPC&A, insider threat, physical protection design, radioxenon monitoring, attribution, detection and characterisation, export control, NSG trigger lists, acquisition and smuggling pathways, as applicable • Prior technical writing, published research, or expert witness experience is a strong signal • Must be able to write clear rationales understandable to non-specialists • Must not use classified or export-controlled information, NDA-covered information, or information subject to prepublication review obligations • If subject to such obligations, must disclose them so the work can be scoped accordingly
