📋 Description

• Lead creation and execution of comprehensive test plans and strategies aligned with project goals • Assess and estimate testing time, resources, and effort • Apply an automation-first approach to maximize coverage and efficiency • Design and create reproducible complex cross-functional test cases • Own end-to-end testing for complex projects • Lead manual and automated testing efforts for multiple small features • Create test cases, test results, and detailed bug reports • Maintain accurate testing documentation and enforce best practices • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders on requirements and quality standards • Facilitate and guide UAT activities • Lead process improvement initiatives and quality assurance practices • Research, evaluate, recommend, and integrate new testing tools and methodologies • Mentor and coach junior and mid-level test engineers • Resolve testing roadblocks and lead solutions with related teams • Review and improve test strategies and test cases • Track, analyze, and interpret testing metrics • Create and implement test engineering strategies, policies, and standards • Collaborate with the SET team to prioritize automation and improve automation coverage

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or other related fields Or equivalent combination of education and experience • 5+ yrs industry experience, independently working on S/M projects, mentoring Jr testing engineers • 5 or more years of experience with manual and automation testing • 5 or more years of experience with Java or python • Familiarity with testing APIs and web/mobile applications • Ability to handle complex troubleshooting and problem resolution across multiple systems • Ability to analyze complex product requirements and independently define the testing approach • Ability to write and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, or similar • Strong experience with API testing, including tools like Postman or SoapUI • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to adapt to changing requirements, code designs, technologies, methods, priorities, workstyles, and responsibilities • Ability to manage large, complex testing projects with multiple dependencies and meet deadlines • Strong understanding of domain-specific knowledge and business requirements • Advanced knowledge of testing types, complex test scenarios, and automation techniques • Exceptional attention to detail • Extensive experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA and Confluence
