• Engage with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and support staff, on provider templates, scheduling, and associated clinical workflows • Create, support, and configure workflows and software • Lead stakeholders through process changes and manage change to transform customer, provider, and employee experience • Participate in template development and design, workflow redesign, and standardized SOP development • Apply creativity and problem-solving to configuration improvements, patient access optimizations, and software upgrades • Serve as a subject matter expert on Epic Cadence template functionality, maintenance, and support • Ensure Epic workflows reflect clinical workflows and support ease of use for clinical teams • Analyze and design workflows, including integrations with other applications • Assess and collaborate on system workflows to maintain optimal end-user experience • Lead workgroups to identify, recommend, and own template scope of work • Maintain technical environments in production and non-production according to quality standards • Lead communications plans and stakeholder education • Lead training and education for various audiences in coordination with training teams and end-user sponsors • Identify and unify best-practice workflows across users and departments • Implement strategies to improve client performance and end-user satisfaction • Lead continuous process-improvement projects and prioritize enhancements with stakeholders • Assess root issues and prepare leadership summaries with potential solutions and recommendations • Independently lead teams addressing problem areas, including timelines and communications • Own highly integrated issues and coordinate required stakeholders • Create and maintain documentation on template best-practice workflows • Create and maintain client-facing engagement documentation, including decision and SBARD documents
• Epic Cadence Certification or 2 years’ experience in a scheduling capacity or as a practice manager within an Optimized BSMH department • Epic Cadence Certification required within the first 90 days of employment • Customer service knowledge, skills, and abilities required • Combination of post-secondary education and experience may be used in lieu of a degree • In-depth knowledge of Epic Cadence applications and template functionality • Expertise in workflow analysis and design • Understanding of integrations with other applications • Experience maintaining technical environments in production and non-production • Ability to lead communications, training, and education for varied audiences • Ability to identify and implement best-practice workflows and continuous process improvements • Ability to assess root issues and recommend solutions • Ability to independently lead teams and manage timelines and stakeholder communications • Ability to manage highly integrated issues and coordinate stakeholders • Ability to create workflow, client-facing, decision, and SBARD documentation
