📋 Description

• Work as a Database Administrator as part of an agile scrum team supporting web applications for a federal government customer • Attend all agile ceremonies • Complete user stories within defined due dates as part of two-week sprints • Assist with optimizing database infrastructure and performance

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of total work experience in database development • Experience with Oracle databases in Amazon RDS instances and proficiency in SQL • Experience writing new and modifying existing stored procedures, scripts, and triggers • Experience writing batch jobs and querying complex databases • Experience collaborating with development teams to optimize query performance and troubleshoot related issues • Experience creating users/roles and database instances locally and in higher environments • Knowledge of IT security and database management best practices • Strong knowledge of RDBMS systems • Proficiency in writing, tuning, and troubleshooting SQL queries • Knowledge of SQL development tools such as SQL Developer and TOAD • Excellent statistical, analytical, and conceptual thinking skills • Ability to quickly transition and reassess priorities to meet aggressive deadlines • Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask • Ability to obtain and maintain DHS suitability, which requires US Citizenship • Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States upon hire
