📋 Description

• Own the front-end experience for critical guest-facing features on MGM websites and mobile applications • Create new customer experiences and identify architectural gaps and potential solutions • Deliver software according to technical standards and non-functional requirements • Collaborate with designers and product managers to ensure UI/UX technical feasibility • Understand product vision and influence product strategy • Participate in architecture, performance, design, prototyping, and release discussions • Contribute to high-quality products that support business goals • Participate in cross-team product initiatives requiring significant alignment and collaboration • Mentor other engineers • Develop and execute production-grade code through vision, definition, planning, execution, deployment, and sustainment • Partner with Product Management to build customer experiences and lead an engineering team toward product goals • Identify and implement technologies and techniques to improve platform performance and customer experience • Influence technical design, development, deployment, and maintenance through quality standards • Build relationships across MGM teams and provide communication and leadership for cross-organizational solutions • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and direction to front-end engineers as an individual contributor

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree Required • 8+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience delivering web and front-end software products and services at enterprise to internet scale in a production environment, or related experience Required • 5+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience as a frontend engineer with experience increasing velocity and capacity in a team Required • 5+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience with web development technologies (React, Typescript, NextJS or other SPA framework) and experience with performance and CDN Caching • Familiarity with node.js and graphql APIs • Previous experience with distributed computing, enterprise-wide systems, and agile-based development • Experience with Scrum, Kanban, or other agile methodology • Experience working in a DevOps environment • Experience with Typescript for at least 2 years minimum • Familiarity or experience with Netlify, CircleCI, Cypress, Webpack, Storybook, and Next.js • Experience with Cypress or similar testing framework • Experience with Backbone.js, Angular.js, React, or Ember.js • Experience working with React.js in the last 3–5 years • Previous experience with NextJS, Gatsby.js, Vue.js, or Sanity.io is a plus
