📋 Description

• Serve as a strategic thought partner to the CEO and leadership team • Own the full finance function, including FP&A, accounting and controllership, treasury, and corporate development • Lead annual planning, forecasting, and value-creation processes with the CEO, board, and PE ownership • Partner with sales and marketing on pricing, go-to-market economics, pipeline health, and growth investment tradeoffs • Support commercial discussions, contract negotiations, and deal desk activity • Manage financials, performance, and budgeting at the unit level across a multi-product portfolio • Drive product-line and customer-segment growth and profitability • Reset cost structure, re-underwrite plans, or reposition the business as needed • Lead M&A across financial and business due diligence, deal structuring, and post-close integration • Own capital structure, cash management, and investment discipline • Build, develop, and retain a high-performing finance team • Contribute to company-wide strategy as a senior leadership team member • Act as a cultural ambassador for MHC and lead through influence

🎯 Requirements

• Finance leadership inside a $25M–$100M SaaS company under private equity ownership • Fluency in PE reporting rhythms, board dynamics, and value-creation planning • Pattern of 5+ year runs and demonstrated tenure and commitment • Internal progression within a single company into broader financial leadership or the CFO seat • Hands-on experience managing financials, performance, and budgeting at the unit level across a multi-product portfolio • Direct experience in a transformation or turnaround situation • M&A experience spanning financial and business due diligence, deal structuring, and post-close integration • Experience with SaaS businesses scaling past $50–100M under PE ownership • Commercial and growth orientation with experience partnering with sales and marketing on pricing, go-to-market economics, pipeline health, and growth investment tradeoffs • Experience with commercial discussions, contract negotiations, and deal desk activities • Fluency in recurring revenue mechanics and unit economics • Technical foundation in public accounting/audit or several years of FP&A and forecasting rigor at a single company, followed by broader financial leadership responsibility • Operational, direct, grounded, low-ego leadership style • Motivation to build and lead teams and develop people • Willingness to lead through influence and act as a cultural ambassador • Preferred: exposure to Customer Communications Management, document automation, or adjacent enterprise/content management software • Preferred: experience serving enterprise and mid-market B2B SaaS customers in regulated industries • Must be based in the United States • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship
