📋 Description

• Support the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of new and existing applications. • Work alongside other engineers in an Agile environment to understand customer needs. • Develop reliable technical solutions. • Troubleshoot issues and improve system functionality. • Work with the UniData database environment and MultiValue Pick BASIC programming language. • Assist in determining customer requirements using problem analysis and critical thinking skills. • Define and develop clear problem statements representing customers’ needs and requirements in collaboration with Sr. Software Engineers/Principal Engineer. • Design and develop technical software solutions, including software architecture. • Examine systems flow, data usage, and work processes. • Write and perform testing aligned with a methodology and agreed testing requirements. • Document each aspect of an application for future upgrades and maintenance. • Identify bugs and assist senior team members with fixes and customer concerns. • Leverage AI-assisted tools and technologies to enhance productivity, accelerate problem-solving, improve quality, automate routine tasks, and drive innovation.

🎯 Requirements

• AS or BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related area preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • 3-5 years of experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer. • Knowledge of DesignBais • Experience using AI tools within the UniData ecosystem • Familiarity with the PrismHR application • Experience developing and integrating API • Experience working with EDI file formats • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States. • Mindex is unable to sponsor employment visas at this time. • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. • No heavy lifting is expected.
