📋 Description

• Lead technical discovery, establishing prospects' business challenges, technical environment, and qualification before committing to a POC • Design and deliver tailored, research-backed demos connecting Mixpanel capabilities to specific business outcomes • Establish technical fit and scope meaningful proofs before POCs begin • Own competitive technical positioning against Amplitude, PostHog, and warehouse-native alternatives • Run structured POCs with defined success criteria, a named focus metric, and an actionable handoff package • Return post-sale for cross-sell and strategic expansion requiring new technical evaluations • Partner with Account Executives on deal strategy, technical objection handling, and expansion planning • Stay close to Delivery Engineers so POCs reflect production realities • Help Mixpanel customers understand product usage and make better data-informed decisions

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or a technical pre-sales role at a B2B SaaS company • Technical foundation in data analytics, event tracking, APIs, data warehouses, or adjacent domains • Commercial instinct and orientation toward winning deals • Demonstrated ability to run structured POCs with defined success criteria and measurable outcomes • Clear, compelling communication to technical and non-technical audiences • Competitive knowledge of the analytics landscape, or ability to build it quickly • Humble, hungry, smart, and accountable • Role is remote in the United States
