📋 Description

• Build and design new features for MongoDB Atlas • Contribute to and lead complex technical projects • Work closely with product and design teams while considering the user’s perspective • Work with customers and support engineers to fix issues • Collaborate with team members to develop the codebase, best practices, and design principles • Learn from and mentor other team members • Join an on-call rotation to support Atlas production services • Design and operate encryption and compliance systems in production • Lead fleet-wide rollouts • Partner with customers when encryption or key-management issues affect their clusters

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional software development experience • Skilled at writing large-scale, distributed backend systems in a compiled language such as Java or Go • Experience with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP • Experience leading the launch of a new feature and maintaining it in production • Nice to have: experience with cloud key management (KMS / Key Vault / Cloud KMS), IAM, private networking, or encryption in a production SaaS environment • Excellent communication skills • Curiosity, collaboration, and motivation
