📋 Description

• Establish and maintain comprehensive communications plans using SharePoint, videos, newsletters, and official notices • Support awareness, adoption, and understanding of NASA data and artificial intelligence initiatives • Author employee-facing messages, FAQs, memoranda, emails, announcements, talking points, and executive presentations • Develop success stories about data and AI usage, including sourcing, interviewing subject matter experts, and drafting narratives • Translate complex technical and strategic information into clear content for non-technical audiences • Provide technical editing and proofing for the CDO and CDAIO office using NASA documentation standards and AP style • Use SharePoint and Teams for material storage and communications • Develop executive-level reports and respond to report inquiries • Manage, edit, and proof content for multimedia platforms • Coordinate materials and scheduling for CDAIO speaking engagements • Serve as point of contact for external media relations, social media creation, internal stakeholders, and civic, service, and educational organizations

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced-level position • US Citizenship or possession of a Green Card required • Reliable internet connection for remote work • Ability to VPN into the NASA network • Ability to create and maintain communications plans across multimodal channels • SharePoint and Microsoft Teams proficiency • Strong communications and content development skills • Ability to write employee-facing communications, executive presentations, reports, and success stories • Ability to simplify complex technical and strategic information for non-technical audiences • Technical editing and proofreading using NASA documentation standards and AP style • Correct punctuation and grammar with zero-defect accuracy • Ability to support multimedia platforms, media relations, social media, and speaking engagements
