📋 Description

• Process standard and non-standard payroll runs for assigned employee populations • Manage timekeeping, deductions, garnishments, and off-cycle payments independently • Perform payroll reconciliations and audits before and after each pay cycle • Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies with general supervision • Maintain accurate employee payroll records • Coordinate payroll changes with HR and Benefits for new hires, terminations, and compensation adjustments • Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, taxes, and deductions • Support quarterly and year-end payroll compliance activities, including tax filings and W-2 preparation • Assist with identifying and documenting improvements to payroll workflows and controls • Guide and support peers earlier in their careers

🎯 Requirements

• Solid working knowledge of payroll discipline • Ability to process standard and non-standard payroll runs • Experience managing timekeeping, deductions, garnishments, and off-cycle payments • Ability to perform payroll reconciliations and audits • Ability to maintain accurate employee payroll records • Knowledge of payroll taxes, deductions, tax filings, and W-2 preparation • Ability to respond to moderately complex employee payroll inquiries • Ability to identify and document payroll process improvements
