📋 Description

• Design, implement, optimize, test, cut over, and document advanced communication systems with Engineering, Project Management, and Sales teams • Provide weekly reports of activities and accomplishments • Oversee onsite installation of network, server, and RF equipment • Perform onsite and remote configuration of network, server, RF, and database systems • Troubleshoot networks, servers, databases, and RF infrastructure using system logs and tools • Verify system logs and event monitoring applications are clear of faults • Perform acceptance testing, correct deficiencies, and provide accepted test results • Perform performance verification and optimization of advanced digital and legacy analog RF infrastructure • Develop solutions to difficult technical issues during system implementation, upgrades, and support • Perform preventative maintenance with a focus on trend analysis and documentation

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in LMR, RF systems, radio communications, two-way radio, wired/wireless communications, Motorola equipment, telecommunications, public safety, engineering, IP networking, solutions architecture, ASTRO 25, P25, WAVE VoIP, or military experience • Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN IP networks • Proficiency installing, configuring, and maintaining cabling, routers, switches, and firewalls • Experience with VMware ESXi v6+ and/or Microsoft Hyper-V 2012+ • Experience with Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012 R2, and 2019 • Experience with Windows 7 and 10 workstations • Experience with HP and Juniper switches, routers, and firewalls • Knowledge of secure products and protocols including KMF, KVL, and AES • Knowledge of RF systems including transmitters, receivers, filters, and antenna networks • Experience with Project 25 products • Experience with Motorola base stations, consoles, Astro25 Master Site, Astro 25 Multisite and ASR equipment, Channel Banks, and T1 Circuits • Knowledge of standard telephony, dedicated data circuits, and packet-switching techniques • Experience with logging recording systems • Skilled with communication system analyzers, RF power sensors, Ethernet test sets, and TIMS • Experience with Motorola APX and APX Next subscribers and CPS programming software • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Google G-Suite applications • Valid driver's license and no traffic violations • Ability to obtain background clearance and pass CJIS-related fingerprint background checks • Willingness to travel extensively, over 75% • Must have or be pursuing an industry network certification such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Juniper JNCIA, Cisco CCNA, or Nokia NRS1 • Legal authorization to work indefinitely in the U.S.; employer sponsorship is unavailable • Must be a U.S. citizen able to obtain required security clearance
