📋 Description

• Own the VMS product within the video platform • Define product vision, outcomes, discovery practice, and roadmap with engineering • Conduct customer interviews, observe field workflows, analyze usage data, and synthesize findings into problem statements and opportunity assessments • Coach product team members on continuous discovery • Partner with engineering and design to move products from problem to solution to delivery • Make scope trade-offs, manage complexity, and ensure shipped products solve customer problems and deliver measurable outcomes • Define integration of AI and analytics capabilities into the video platform • Advance video management toward intelligent security workflows and identify AI opportunities • Build measurement frameworks and instrument products for adoption, engagement, and business impact • Use data to validate hypotheses, stop underperforming initiatives, and support investment decisions • Collaborate with Sales, Support, Marketing, and partners on launches and feedback loops • Represent the product area in cross-functional forums and align stakeholders • Mentor junior product managers and improve team practices and culture • Monitor competitors, industry trends, and security professionals' evolving needs to inform positioning and product strategy • Report to the Director of Product Management for Video

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience • Experience with video surveillance, video analytics, or physical security strongly preferred • Track record of owning complex product areas end-to-end and delivering measurable business outcomes • Deep experience running customer discovery and translating qualitative and quantitative insights into product strategy • Strong technical fluency, including architecture, system design, and trade-offs • Experience defining product metrics frameworks and using data to drive prioritization and investment decisions • Proven ability to influence without authority across engineering, sales, marketing, and leadership • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting product strategy to senior leadership • Experience mentoring or coaching other product managers • Ability to stand up AI-generated prototypes rapidly and iterate on them • Experience leading integration of AI or analytics capabilities into a product, with measurable results • Working understanding of the physical security ecosystem, including installers, integrators, and end-user workflows • Experience with products bridging cloud and on-premise deployments, or migration strategies from legacy to cloud architectures • Experience serving multiple stakeholder types and navigating competing needs and trade-offs • Technical background in CS, engineering, or similar • Experience in or building an outcome-driven product organization • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely; employer work permit sponsorship is not available • Travel under 10%
