📋 Description

• Act as the main contact for communicating and collaborating with assigned accounts • Review and verify medical record requests for validity and HIPAA/HITECH compliance • Verify patient information in assigned accounts' EMR systems using key patient identifiers • Confirm request information and obtain additional documentation from patients/requesters • Pull and reproduce requested medical records accurately and compliantly • Follow workflows specific to assigned accounts • Log detailed and accurate information for each file/chart processed • Update and maintain Accounting of Disclosures • Provide customer service to patients and clients while ensuring patient privacy • Handle high call volumes professionally • Maintain production and quality goals within established turnaround times • Report to the team lead and Director of Operations as necessary

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required • Thorough and detail-oriented • Professional demeanor • Customer oriented disposition • Positive attitude and ability to interact well with employees • Excellent communication skills • Proven consistent dependability and attendance • Confidentiality and discretion required • Ability to conduct and interpret HIPAA and Privacy Guidelines • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management • Flexibility to adapt to frequent changes in the industry and office
