• Engage customers to address identified needs and educate key stakeholders about oncology products • Communicate with the broader oncology community and achieve or exceed assigned territory sales goals • Work with territory team members to attain or exceed sales goals for the geography • Meet key stakeholders to understand practice structure, business models, and key influencers while building relationships and trust • Use approved resources and messaging to communicate patient-centered product value in indicated uses • Apply knowledge of multidisciplinary care teams, cancer staging, treatment options, pathways, and guidelines across tumors and diseases • Analyze trends in complex buying environments and evaluate products purchased and prescribed across distribution channels • Develop and execute short- and long-term plans with the local team and Oncology Customer Team Leader • Ask insightful questions to understand customer priorities and needs • Ensure a consistent customer experience across company divisions and functional areas • Communicate and collaborate with the customer team, including the Customer Team Leader, Key Account Manager, Nurse Educator, Field Reimbursement Associate, and Medicare Account Executive • Travel to customer meetings, national sales meetings, and industry conferences
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of sales experience OR high school diploma with at least 8 years of equivalent experience • Equivalent experience may include professional sales, healthcare/scientific work with oncology experience, marketing, or military experience • Oncology experience is strongly preferred for non-sales healthcare/scientific experience • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a vehicle • Ability to travel as required, including 10–15% overnight travel • Reside in or within a reasonable distance to the district • Preferred: 2+ years of oncology field-based experience selling an oncology therapeutic to oncology customers • Oncology field sales or clinical oncology experience preferred • Less than 2 years of oncology field sales experience may qualify for the S2 level; 2+ years may qualify for the S3 level • Ability to work in a field-based sales role and travel approximately 25% • No visa sponsorship available
