📋 Description

• Identify, establish, and manage collaborative relationships with scientific leaders and investigators • Conduct peer-level scientific discussions and maintain a reliable Medical Affairs contact presence • Engage in proactive non-product scientific discussions on disease states, diagnosis, epidemiology, unmet medical need, and population health • Facilitate scientific information exchange and translate knowledge into actionable insights • Communicate stakeholder opinions, insights, and feedback to Medical Affairs headquarters teams • Represent Research and Development at scientific meetings and congresses • Contribute to debriefs, insight discussions, and post-congress reports • Develop and execute territory plans aligned with global Virology/HIV strategy • Support data generation activities, including the Investigator Study Program • Liaise with investigators pursuing investigator-initiated research • Identify investigators for phase II-IV clinical development programs • Provide scientific support for company-sponsored trials • Provide in-depth scientific support to Health Systems Teams within USMA • Maintain in-depth disease and therapeutic-area knowledge through conferences, workshops, and journal review • Comply with company policies, laws, regulations, and ethical standards

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree (MD, PhD, DNP, Doctoral PA-C, DO, or PharmD) relevant to Virology/HIV and the position • Minimum 3 years of prior experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical or clinical environment • Minimum 3 years of clinical and/or research experience beyond the terminal degree program in Virology/HIV or a related therapeutic area • Demonstrated scientific excellence in Virology/HIV or a related therapeutic area • Excellent interpersonal, communication, networking, and presentation skills • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnights • Must reside in the coverage region • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) preferred • US and Puerto Rico residents only • Valid driving license
