📋 Description

• Support Learning Directors and Learning Partners in executing the L&D strategy • Consult on and deliver appropriate learning solutions • Apply business priorities, processes, and internal/external best practices to learning solutions • Partner with divisional stakeholders to identify performance needs and gaps • Collaborate with design experts and operational support points on performance and business outcomes • Build and maintain strong business relationships and apply insights from an integrated learning network • Execute Ophthalmology learning and development solutions in assigned business areas • Lead projects within the portfolio of work to meet business requirements • Provide subject-matter expertise and ensure learning solutions are relevant, impactful, and compelling • Support definition of business and learning outcomes • Measure and report learning-program impact against metrics and modify solutions as needed • Support the manager and collaborate with peers on aligned L&D planning and implementation • Deliver or facilitate training content, or support and coach L&D colleagues and subject-matter experts • Manage and track financial commitments related to learning solutions • Use data insights to influence solutions and outcomes

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, currently in pursuit of degree completion, or equivalent relevant work experience in Human Resources or a related discipline • Minimum of 6 years of related experience, or 4+ years with a Master’s degree • Experience in Ophthalmology in either a sales or learning/education capacity • Experience in learning, talent, HR, or comparable areas • Experience in applicable technical/professional areas pertinent to the division/function served • Experience facilitating and delivering learning solutions • Business acumen and ability to engage around business strategy, goals, and outcomes • Ability to apply external best practices • Ability to partner, collaborate, and impact decisions at all levels • Ability to build and maintain critical networks and collaborative relationships • Creative thinking and ability to apply tools and techniques for grasping new concepts • Business consulting and ability to coach clients • Outstanding verbal, written, and executive-level presentation abilities • Ability to use methods, assumptions, frameworks, and perspectives for problem-solving and decision-making • Ability to prioritize work and leverage existing resources • Data analytics ability, including analyzing and interpreting data • Project planning and management experience • Knowledge of L&D policies, standards, procedures, and industry/organization practices • Experience applying adult learning theory and practice • Experience assessing competency gaps and conducting learning needs analysis • No visa sponsorship • US and Puerto Rico residents only
