📋 Description

• Travel to customer sites to start up, commission, troubleshoot, and repair Data Center equipment • Perform factory start-up, commissioning, warranty, and billable service on Munters Data Center equipment and systems • Maintain and protect Munters equipment and property • Respond promptly to customer and management service requests • Provide customer training on Munters equipment • Provide detailed field service reports and technical feedback on equipment • Manage projects onsite during start-up commissioning and coordinate other trades and services • Provide instant response to urgent and routine customer needs as part of the Field Service team

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience and extensive knowledge in the mechanical field, specifically HVAC • Frequent travel required, up to 90%, across the USA by plane and car • Extensive knowledge in electrical troubleshooting and ability to diagnose electrical issues and record data • Knowledge of safety procedures and requirements, including Arc flash and lock out tag out • Ability to utilize PPE associated with electrical safety • Extensive refrigeration knowledge, including pressure testing, evacuation, charging, troubleshooting, and diagnosis • Proficiency in brazing and soldering • Holds a universal refrigeration card • Extensive controls knowledge, including troubleshooting, programming, downloading, and PLC platforms • Ability to connect to PLCs with a computer, communicate, and make changes • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Self-motivated, with ability to work independently • Ability to communicate with site personnel, Sales PM, Service Manager, and Technical Support personnel • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school desired • Ability to perform heavy work and lift up to 75 pounds occasionally • Ability to travel and be away from home for several days • Willingness to take on-call duties • Willingness to occasionally work weekends and holidays • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions • Willingness and ability to work six feet or more above ground • State Licensed Master HVAC mechanic is optional • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check, as applicable
