📋 Description

• Lead and manage an assigned Loss Mitigation function, including Underwriting or Closing. • Ensure achievement of productivity, quality, cycle time, and service level expectations. • Monitor pipeline performance and address process bottlenecks to improve operational efficiency. • Manage escalated borrower, client, investor, and operational issues. • Maintain advanced knowledge of Loss Mitigation products and programs, including loan modifications, deferrals, partial claims, repayment plans, and FHA, VA, USDA, GSE, and proprietary retention solutions. • Provide guidance on complex eligibility, decisioning, documentation, and execution requirements. • Support implementation of new investor products, regulatory requirements, and business initiatives. • Ensure compliance with investor, insurer, client, federal, state, and company requirements. • Partner with Compliance, Risk, and Quality teams on audit findings and process improvements. • Monitor quality performance and implement corrective action plans. • Establish and maintain operational controls to mitigate risk. • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, borrower experience, and operational effectiveness. • Participate in system enhancements, automation initiatives, testing efforts, and process redesign. • Use performance reporting and analytics to drive operational improvements. • Assist in developing policies, procedures, and operational standards. • Manage supervisors, team leaders, and/or individual contributors. • Coach and develop employees, build bench strength and succession plans, and foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. • Perform all other duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. • 7+ years of mortgage servicing or Loss Mitigation experience. • 5+ years of leadership experience. • Demonstrated expertise in loss mitigation underwriting, closing, or execution functions. • Comprehensive knowledge of investor and insurer programs, including FHA, VA, USDA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and proprietary products. • Advanced Loss Mitigation subject matter expertise. • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements. • Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to manage complex operational issues and drive results. • Experience implementing operational or technology initiatives preferred.
