📋 Description

• Serve as the technical lead during pre-sales engagements across data center, campus, and WAN environments • Design and present Cisco and Juniper network solutions • Lead whiteboarding sessions, technical workshops, and customer discovery meetings • Collaborate with account managers, delivery teams, and OEM partners on proposals, BOMs, and SOWs • Translate business needs into scalable, secure network architectures using routing, switching, VPN, and firewall technologies • Develop HLDs, solution briefs, architecture diagrams, and client-ready presentations • Stay current on SD-WAN, EVPN-VXLAN, and automation technologies and communicate their value • Participate in RFP responses, competitive analyses, and technical validation • Act as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise clients • Complete ongoing security awareness training and comply with company policies • Identify and escalate security risks and contribute to remediation efforts • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Must be based in the United States • 7+ years of experience in enterprise networking roles, including at least 2 years in a customer-facing pre-sales or solution architect capacity • Deep technical expertise in Cisco and Juniper network infrastructure (routing, switching, firewalls) • Strong understanding of Layer 2/3 protocols (BGP, OSPF, STP, VLANs, VRFs), QoS, NAT, and ACLs • Ability to lead technical discussions with engineers and executives • Experience designing or consulting on data center, WAN, or secure remote access solutions • Skilled at creating architecture diagrams, proposal documentation, and technical presentations • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Preferred: CCNP/CCIE (Enterprise/Data Center) or JNCIP/JNCIE certifications • Preferred: Familiarity with SD-WAN, EVPN-VXLAN, MPLS, or cloud networking (AWS/Azure) • Preferred: Experience with network automation such as Ansible or Python • Preferred: Exposure to NAC, 802.1X, RADIUS, and hybrid networking environments
