📋 Description

• Guide and support clinical operations departments in site budgeting for ImmunityBio trials and investigator-initiated trials • Prepare, negotiate, and execute clinical trial budgets, service contracts, and agreements • Identify process improvements and recommend or draft SOPs and templates • Monitor budget timelines and update trial stakeholders • Recommend tactics to achieve clinical program milestones • Provide management with reports and analysis of budget and agreement negotiation trends • Triage protocols for coverage analysis and budget building • Perform detailed coverage analysis using CMS policies, NCDs, LCDs, Drug Compendia, and related standards • Develop, review, and negotiate clinical trial budgets • Partner with Legal, Finance/Accounting, and Clinical Operations teams • Develop and maintain study-specific site budget templates and negotiate budget and contract parameters • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, auditing, and variance management • Respond to coverage analysis, billing compliance, and budget-related questions • Serve as subject matter expert for billing compliance issues and budget negotiations • Educate others on budget and billing compliance processes • Mentor, coach, and train less-experienced budget team members • Perform ad hoc and cross-functional projects as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years’ progressive experience in budget and contract development required • 4+ years’ experience in clinical research required • Experience with contract negotiations preferred • Experience with domestic and international research studies preferred • Knowledge and expertise in Clinical Trial Management Systems and Excel for budget development and negotiation • Advanced Excel skills • Knowledge of coverage analysis and CPT coding • Knowledge of the drug development process and cross-functional responsibilities • Ability to influence various teams without a direct reporting structure • Excellent project and process management skills • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and strong customer-service orientation • Understanding of supplier management and billing/regulatory compliance guidelines • Proven ability to handle extremely confidential information • Experience using Veeva CTMS and payments • Ability to work Monday–Friday within standard business hours • Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and use standard office equipment • Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 20 pounds
