📋 Description

• Develop and execute multi-year software product roadmaps for critical business units • Translate broad business goals into detailed functional workflows and ensure end-to-end solution cohesion • Make quick, data-driven decisions in ambiguous situations to deliver critical milestones • Align stakeholders across R&D, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Commercial, and Clinical teams • Lead the full product lifecycle for complex software solutions from order ingestion through lab execution to patient reporting • Translate scientific, clinical, and technical requirements into robust, scalable software specifications • Shadow operations and engage with customers to validate real-world software needs • Analyze interactions across software systems and the full data lifecycle • Own product backlogs and drive Agile ceremonies • Use LLMs and generative AI tools to accelerate product discovery and requirements synthesis • Partner with Quality and Regulatory teams on global standards and certifications, including FDA design controls, IEC 62304, and HIPAA • Identify and mitigate product risks while maintaining documentation and compliance • Mentor Senior Product Managers and cross-functional team members • Foster accountability, technical rigor, and cross-functional collaboration

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience in high-scale software or biotech environments • Proven track record of operating at a Director-level seniority • Experience building and launching new software products from the ground up in a startup or internal incubator environment • Deep experience in highly regulated environments, including FDA design controls, HIPAA, IEC 62304, or ISO standards • Exposure to HealthTech, MedTech, or genomics is highly advantageous • Strong ability to understand complex technical architectures, including APIs, microservices, LIMS, data platforms, and event-driven systems • Hands-on experience using LLMs and generative AI tools • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • BS/MS in a relevant technical, scientific, or quantitative discipline; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus • Ability to influence executive-level stakeholders • Expert-level architectural and functional systems knowledge • Ability to validate software for clinical and laboratory operational users
