📋 Description

• Provide tactical building and long-term strategic leadership for learning, development, and performance enablement across laboratory operations • Develop and execute L&D strategies aligned with organizational goals and business objectives • Assess developmental needs, identify competency gaps, and track program effectiveness • Partner with HR on employee development, job architecture, career progression, and succession planning • Manage and report on the L&D budget, including forecasting, vendor spend, and resource allocation • Define, track, and report L&D metrics and KPIs to senior leadership and stakeholders • Create and facilitate leader development programs for new, middle-management, and senior-level leaders • Facilitate DiSC and/or Clifton Strengths programs and drive practical adoption • Develop onboarding programs for all employees and newly promoted or externally hired leaders • Develop mentorship, shadowing, job rotation, internship, and talent pipeline programs • Design and deliver soft skills, leadership, and cross-functional business training through instructor-led, blended, and e-learning formats • Maintain a centralized Lab Operations knowledge base • Refine training curricula using participant feedback, quality data, and evaluations • Manage external training vendors and subject matter expert partnerships • Coordinate training logistics, events, materials, and systems administration • Oversee the Lab Operations Learning Management System and training records • Facilitate cross-functional training and provide internal consulting on training and development • Build and manage an internal subject matter expert network

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field required • 4-6 years of experience in training design, curriculum development, and delivery in a high volume organization required • At least 2 years in a biotech, pharmaceutical, or clinical laboratory environment preferred • Experience facilitating leadership development frameworks (DiSC, Clifton Strengths, coaching models) required • Experience managing or administering a Learning Management System (LMS) in a regulated environment required • Experience building and executing L&D programs through organizational growth and large-scale operational change preferred • Ability to translate complex scientific and technical content into accessible, engaging learning experiences • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite products • Strong data literacy, including building L&D dashboards, interpreting training metrics, and presenting ROI analysis • Experience with competency framework design and behavioral anchoring • Occasional laboratory access requires adherence to safety protocols and PPE requirements • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time • May require occasional evening or weekend availability
