📋 Description

• Process and manage pledges, intentions, outright gifts, and other contributions for the Virginia Business Unit • Create financial and non-financial adjustments • Create Grant ID requests in collaboration with Finance • Support quarterly pledge reviews • Troubleshoot delayed processing and uncommitted batches • Ensure revenue coding adheres to standard operating procedures and advise the team • Manage donor database maintenance • Conduct research on prospective and current donors • Create donor briefings and update donor profiles • Produce reports and queries supporting fundraising efforts, events, donor mailings, and pledge reminder letters • Prepare and update fundraising dashboards and track philanthropic contributions • Create, update, and maintain constituent records and perform data entry • Support strategic internal and external-facing writing • Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks • Coordinate complex projects within defined timelines and budgets • Ensure compliance with TNC policies, procedures, and donor, legal, and IRS requirements • Communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders • Assist staff with decisions, problem-solving, and workflow improvements • Travel to Virginia or other TNC locations at least twice annually for workshops or projects

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience in gift coding or database management or equivalent combination • Experience working with CRM relational databases, including managing and tracking data • Experience building relationships with staff, customers, or similar • Strong organization skills, accuracy, and attention to detail • Experience generating reports and interpreting data • Experience in business writing, editing, and proofreading • Experience working across teams • Ability to analyze information for coordinating or planning activities and solving problems • Ability to work under pressure and perform repetitive data entry tasks • Experience interpreting guidelines to achieve desired results • Ability to communicate clearly about complex topics, verbally and in writing • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Experience, coursework, or other training in principles and practices of the relevant field • Advanced skills with donor database systems • Ability to handle confidential information sensitively • Ability to meet background screening requirements • Must be able to travel to Virginia or other TNC locations at least twice a year
