📋 Description

• Assist the Navitus Chief Legal Officer, Deputy General Counsel, or Assistant General Counsel, Contracts • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts on behalf of the organization • Oversee the complete life cycle of Navitus’ contracts from initial request to final signature • Field internal and external requests on contract status and manage follow-up with staff • Prepare legal documents, memorandums, and correspondence • Inform development of new Navitus initiatives from a legal perspective • Provide guidance and legal counsel on business objectives, policies, and practices • Research and analyze statutes, judicial decisions, legal articles, contracts, and legal codes • File legal documents and correspondence in digital and physical filing systems • Develop processes for indexing and filing legal documents and managing contracts • Manage document templates and corporate legal records • Perform records and legal research • Perform other duties as assigned • Impart Navitus and SSM Health values and support Continuous Quality Improvement activities

🎯 Requirements

• Completion of a law degree through an accredited program required • License to practice law in Wisconsin preferred • 5 years of experience working in legal required • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives • Ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
