• Serve as the day-to-day steward of NCCER’s Crane, Rigger, and Signal Person product line • Lead growth and profitability of NCCER crane certification products • Translate executive strategy into an actionable product roadmap and day-to-day priorities • Gather customer feedback, market intelligence, and product performance data • Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver product enhancements • Prioritize features, enhancements, bug fixes, and customer requests • Identify risks, tradeoffs, and opportunities and make recommendations to leadership • Monitor product adoption, customer satisfaction, and business performance • Own the crane certification product portfolio and develop annual growth strategy and revenue targets • Identify gaps in certification offerings and monitor industry trends, regulations, and workforce demands • Build roadmaps for new certifications and endorsements • Get NCCER crane certifications written into state standards and/or requirements • Identify target customer segments and perform competitive analysis • Develop marketing and sales plans, sales tools, pricing models, and value propositions • Partner with marketing, sales, business development, and finance to drive adoption, growth, forecasting, and profitability • Build relationships with crane manufacturers, rental companies, contractors, owners, and industry groups • Represent NCCER at industry meetings, conferences, and standards-writing meetings • Monitor certification volumes and pass rates and evaluate program performance • Ensure consistency and quality standards and improve candidate experience • Manage P&L for crane certification programs • Track KPIs including revenue growth, market growth, certifications issued, and recertification volume
• 7-10+ years’ experience in construction industry, workforce development, crane, industrial services, or heavy equipment industries • Experience launching and managing products or programs • Demonstrated revenue growth responsibility • Strong project management skills • Significant experience managing or supporting complex, customer-facing products or programs in a technical, regulated, or industrial environment • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with owners, operators, contractors, and industry stakeholders • Experience representing an organization externally at industry meetings, conferences, advisory councils, or standards-setting bodies • Experience translating customer needs, feedback, and market insights into actionable product roadmaps, platform enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives • Experience with market analysis, competitive intelligence, business planning and pricing strategy • Documented success with program/product management, process improvement, budget management and data analysis • Strong background in sales enablement and customer development • Experience working cross-functionally with product development, engineering, assessment, marketing, sales, and operations teams in a matrixed organization • Ability to support customer onboarding, operational problem-solving, data updates, and technical issue resolution • Experience working toward defined sales or revenue targets • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems such as Salesforce, and product or project management tools • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment
