📋 Description

• Manage inbound customer inquiries and initiate outbound calls related to order status, order entry issues, shipment tracking, and account support. • Enter and process customer orders through CRM and Solomon systems, including orders received by phone, email, and fax. • Process customer payments, confirm orders, retrieve invoices, and assist with purchase order discrepancies in collaboration with Accounts Receivable. • Document customer complaints in the appropriate system and coordinate with internal teams on merchandise, equipment, loaner, inventory, and shipping matters. • Support sales representatives with quotes, order creation, sales campaigns, and appropriate upselling based on product knowledge and customer needs. • Assist with customer eCommerce account setup, departmental cross-training, special projects, and updates to training materials and procedures.

🎯 Requirements

• Prior customer service experience, preferably in a business-to-business, order management, distribution, manufacturing, or similar environment. • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and internal partners. • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize competing responsibilities, and respond with urgency in a fast-paced setting. • Comfort using CRM, order entry, payment processing, and customer management systems; willingness to learn Neogen's internal processes and tools. • Strong attention to detail when entering orders, processing payments, maintaining records, and resolving customer issues. • Availability to work Monday through Friday during Pacific or Mountain Time business hours, generally 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility to support team collaboration and meeting schedules.
