📋 Description

• Build, test, and maintain automated legal document templates using conditional logic for complex legal scenarios and jurisdiction-specific variations • Translate attorney-drafted legal language and specifications into dynamic, logic-driven templates • Use conditional logic to structure, style, and script document templates and related automation workflows • Rigorously test document outputs across input combinations to verify accurate, compliant documents • Collaborate with attorneys, product managers, and engineers to clarify requirements • Proactively ask questions when specifications are ambiguous or incomplete • Document work clearly so templates remain maintainable as the product evolves • Continuously learn new tools, automation platforms, and estate planning concepts

🎯 Requirements

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in legal document automation • Experience building templates with conditional logic in Contract Express, HotDocs, Gavel, or similar platforms • Working proficiency with HTML and JavaScript • Experience working with legal documents and legal language • Strong grasp of precision requirements in a highly regulated field • Exceptional attention to detail • Ability to work independently, manage workload, and deliver reliably in a remote environment • Fast learner comfortable picking up new tools, concepts, and legal subject matter • Strong communication skills and judgment to ask clarifying questions • Preferred: exposure to estate planning documents and concepts, including wills, revocable trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives • Preferred: background as a paralegal, legal assistant, or legal technologist
