📋 Description

• Uncover story ideas from blogs, survey data, customer stories, product roadmaps, SEO insights, and in-house experts • Transform insights into narratives aligned with brand priorities and media interests • Collaborate with Content, Customer Insights, SEO, Video, and Social teams on data-driven narratives and cross-channel story angles • Partner with the PR firm to pitch stories to top-tier, trade, tech, and SMB outlets • Monitor content calendars, product roadmaps, survey insights, and customer trends for media opportunities • Execute strategic media campaigns with customized pitches, press releases, quotes, bylines, and reporter preparation materials • Lead data-driven storytelling and shape research studies for newsworthiness and amplification • Connect PR and Social by translating research, data studies, and press wins into platform-native social content • Support executive leaders with long-form LinkedIn articles and thought-leadership content • Secure media opportunities including commentary, interviews, podcasts, bylines, and expert perspectives • Cultivate relationships with technology, SMB, trade, and data-driven business journalists • Use AI tools to brainstorm, outline, personalize, and accelerate story development • Track earned media coverage, share of voice, sentiment, and survey impact • Help shape the external narrative of the brand during a major rebrand across press, social, and LLMs

🎯 Requirements

• 6-10+ years in PR • B2B tech/SaaS experience • Existing relationships with top-tier and tech journalists • Strong news sense and ability to translate insights into stories • Direct pitching experience and comfort driving outbound media • Exceptional writing skills across formats: press releases, tailored pitches, bylines, spokesperson quotes, talking points • Fluency in social storytelling, especially LinkedIn • Skilled at managing cross-functional relationships • Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate research and content development • Experience managing or partnering with PR agencies • Limited travel availability: approximately 1–3 trips per year • Eastern time zone preferred • Mixed agency and in-house background preferred • Experience with data storytelling or insights-driven narratives, ideally including survey- or research-based campaigns • Experience partnering with a data-journalism or research agency on earned media campaigns • Familiarity with domains, hosting, website builders, or digital presence platforms • Experience in PR during a rebrand or brand transformation
