📋 Description

• Support end-to-end release management processes, including planning, scheduling, coordination, and deployment across development, test, staging, and production environments • Govern and execute change management activities, ensuring operational baseline changes are reviewed, approved, and documented • Manage release calendars and coordinate deployments with cross-functional teams, business priorities, and system availability windows • Oversee deployment execution, validation, post-deployment verification, and rollback procedures • Ensure configuration, schema, code, and data changes are version-controlled, documented, and synchronized across environments • Coordinate release activities with Agile sprint cycles, epics, features, and the Integrated Project Schedule • Facilitate release readiness reviews and meetings • Track and report release status, risks, issues, and dependencies to leadership • Ensure compliance with VA configuration management processes and standards • Collaborate with teams on system component integration and deployment • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance release efficiency, quality, and predictability • Support release-related incident management, including root cause analysis and corrective actions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field • 5+ years of experience in release management, change management, or DevOps in a complex enterprise environment • Experience managing releases for ERP systems, preferably Momentum or similar federal financial systems • Strong understanding of change management and configuration management processes in a federal environment • Ability to manage multiple concurrent releases and priorities • Strong communication skills and experience interfacing with technical teams and government stakeholders • Desired: Experience supporting VA systems, Momentum Financials, or federal financial management environments • Desired: Familiarity with Jira, Agility, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, or similar release and change tracking tools • Desired: Experience working in Agile environments and coordinating with Scrum teams • Minimum clearance required to start: None • Ability to work remotely from any U.S. state
