📋 Description

• Support and prepare assigned learners to achieve NCLEX success through meaningful interactions, consistent communication, and customized learning plans, focusing on at-risk learners • Monitor learner progress and maintain communication throughout coaching, including grading and attendance tracking • Develop, outline, and facilitate scheduled study sessions and 1:1 coaching appointments • Complete initial and final evaluations for assigned learners and graduates and recommend transcript clearance • Attend NCLEX faculty meetings, participate in committees, and contribute to shared decision-making and faculty activities • Participate in functional projects as they arise • Maintain certification records as required by accreditation, facility, or state board of nursing standards • Work with PN, ASN, and BSN learners and graduates through all stages of NCLEX preparation

🎯 Requirements

• MSN required • Availability and commitment to serve across all three academic semesters each calendar year • Doctorate preferred • Experience coaching, mentoring, or supporting students in a Practical Nursing (PN) program preferred • Experience facilitating concept-based nursing education • Proficiency in at least one learning management system (LMS) — Canvas preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) and other technology platforms used in online nursing education delivery • Successful completion of a background check and drug screen required for employment
