📋 Description

• Troubleshoot and repair commercial and industrial floor cleaning equipment in the branch shop or at customer sites • Provide field troubleshooting and repair of technical and mechanical equipment failures • Assess and respond to situations using standard procedures • Report design, reliability, and maintenance problems through field service management software • Complete required service-work reports, timesheets, and other reports for the Branch Supervisor • Maintain required training and certifications in an up-to-date and timely manner • Maintain specified spare-parts stock levels in the service van

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; 5 years relevant experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience • 3 years prior experience in a similar or related field • Excellent communication and customer service • Strong organizational and communication skills • Ability to work independently with little direct supervision • Demonstrated product knowledge, preferably obtained through hands-on experience • Demonstrated mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system troubleshooting skills • Understanding of internal combustion engines • Ability to read, understand, and follow electrical and hydraulic schematics • Ability to use basic electrical testing and diagnostic equipment • Thorough understanding of AC and DC electrical systems • Valid driver's license • DOT certification/qualification • MS Office and business applications • Ability to read, write, and speak English • Ability to interpret safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence • Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees • Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to written, oral, or diagram-form instructions • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations • Ability to regularly lift or move up to 100 pounds • Ability to work around electrical, mechanical, chemical, and airborne-particle hazards
