It recruits and registers donors, matches donors to patients, facilitates transplants, provides patient support and financial assistance, conducts and funds clinical research and trials, and leads advocacy and fundraising to expand access to life‑saving cell therapies.

📋 Description

• Support the effective coordination and implementation of the NMDP Courier Program • Coordinate with the Logistics team and cross-functional team members to ensure cellular products reach their intended destination on time and according to specified requirements • Review and approve staff and volunteer courier expense reports in Concur • Address support and coaching needs related to Concur expense reporting • Create guidance for Concur processes • Ensure courier credo coolers meet required standards and are not expired or damaged • Ensure courier inventory is available to all active couriers • Support account management in databases including Salesforce and Oracle • Address challenges as they arise • Ensure courier activities follow NMDP standards, policies, travel guidelines, international policies, and regulatory agency requirements • Collaborate to ensure courier documentation is submitted and filed • Collaborate to ensure each courier meets annual training requirements • Serve as the main contact for couriers regarding the Concur Expense program • Serve as the main contact for AP–Finance regarding courier expense reports • Manage additional responsibilities for BioTherapies Trip Reports • May perform courier duties after training as an NMDP Staff courier • Model behavior supporting NMDP strategic goals and initiatives • Handle Personal Medical Information according to NMDP information security and confidentiality policies • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, as well as OneNote and Adobe Pro • Excellent proofreading and editing skills • Demonstrated customer service skills • Excellent program coordination and problem-solving skills • Knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices • Knowledge of best practices for volunteer management • Ability to develop strong internal and external relationships and collaborate cross-functionally • Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and take initiative with minimal direction • Effective communication and strong organizational and coordination skills • Excellent customer service skills • Training, mentoring, and writing skills • Skills in facilitating group dynamics, problem solving, and team building • Bachelor's degree in non-profit management, database management, healthcare, business, or related area • 2-3 years of experience in a volunteer coordination/management role
