📋 Description

• Provide pre-sales support • Manage and own technical sales opportunities from discovery through validation, deployment, and continuous adoption • Collaborate with sales, product, professional services, marketing, and partner teams • Lead innovation in solutions and products • Identify and promote trends • Influence the global product roadmap • Build technical expertise and thought leadership in Akamai Cloud/Linode • Work directly with customers to architect and implement transformative cloud and edge computing solutions

🎯 Requirements

• 8 years of experience in technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, or related engineering roles • Bachelor's degree or equivalent • Extensive professional customer-facing experience in technical roles with cloud-related organizations • Experience architecting IaaS solutions for customers • Professional certifications from AWS/GCP/Azure/Oracle and/or CNCF • Hands-on expertise in at least 3 domains across Kubernetes, cloud networking, databases, storage, AI, IaC/CI/CD tooling, gaming, or media-streaming technology stacks • Experience with open-source software such as Apache Web Server, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Redis, Nginx, and Terraform • Ability to communicate complex technical content through writing, speaking, and presenting to diverse technical and business audiences • Proficiency in modern development practices, APIs, databases, observability tools, and automation
