📋 Description

• Retain accounts by resolving outstanding issues and educating merchants on the value proposition of remaining with NAB • Educate merchants on rates, fees, pricing, and competitive rate quotes or internal rate analysis • Educate merchants on equipment functionality, identify when alternate equipment is appropriate, and make equipment recommendations • Serve as a point of contact while merchant service concerns are addressed and resolved • Escalate issues appropriately to ensure immediate resolution • Educate merchants on the PaymentsHub loyalty program • Work with all NAB departments to identify the best solution to merchant concerns • Determine the root cause of merchant dissatisfaction when cancellation is inevitable • Suggest process improvements to reduce account closures • Complete special projects as assigned by management

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required • Some college preferred • 1-3 years prior experience in a call center environment required • 1-3 years prior experience as a Sales, Retention, or Loyalty Representative preferred • Proven ability to build rapport, influence decisions, and navigate complex situations • Strong understanding of customer retention principles • Ability to maintain current understanding of NAB processing rate structures and current industry knowledge
