📋 Description

• Define and develop material strategy • Assess supply resources and aggregate and prioritize demand requirements • Plan inventory, distribution requirements, production, material, and rough-cut capacity for all products • Participate in make/buy processes and long-term capacity and resource planning • Support product phase-in/phase-out, manufacturing ramp-up, end-of-life management, and product-line management • Analyze and aggregate supply and demand requirements • Analyze purchase material supply/demand positions using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools • Plan inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirements • Assess rough-cut capacity for current and short-term manufacturing requirements • Create or reduce supply requirements based on inventory adjustments • Schedule new product-line phase-ins and existing product-line phase-outs • Interface with the Source process area regarding inventory levels and working capital • Create and release requisitions • Receive and review requirements for non-standard parts • Analyze lead times and identify critical-path procurements • Support Northrop Grumman’s Space sector as part of the Strategic Space Systems Division Global Supply Chain team

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution • 0–2 years of related experience • Major in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Logistics and Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Management Science, or a similar field • Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance • U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite • Ability to obtain Special Access Program access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel • Preferred: overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher • Preferred: experience within the Aerospace or Aviation industry • Preferred: experience with FAR/DFAR • Preferred: experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP • Willingness to travel 10% of the time
