📋 Description

• Develop and coach a geographically diverse and remote team • Implement projects to meet cost and affordability objectives • Apply Aerospace & Defense purchasing/procurement methodology to spend categories • Support sector initiatives and special projects • Define and implement strategies across multiple categories and programs, including Raw Materials and Standard Hardware • Establish long-term pricing agreements, Right-to-Buy Agreements, and vendor managed inventory (VMI) • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions • Prepare and brief leadership on category roadmaps, key initiatives, risk mitigation actions, and supplier development plans • Monitor market dynamics and communicate changes affecting internal customer needs • Manage internal and external relationships and supplier partnerships • Travel to supplier locations and other Northrop Grumman sites up to 25%

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience, or a Master’s Degree with 3 years of experience, or a high school diploma/equivalent with 9 years of experience • Combined experience in supply chain management, project management, sustainment, proposals, and/or procurement • Must have FAR/DFARS experience • Minimum of 2 years of experience leading a team, process, and/or projects • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret level clearance to apply and to start the role • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company • Active Security Clearance (SECRET) with Special Program Access preferred • Experience building teams and interfacing/collaborating with Programs and other organizations within and outside of Global Supply Chain preferred • Extensive experience leading tasks on schedule, at cost, and achieving all requirements as project lead preferred • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop detailed execution plans preferred • Exceptional leadership and people management skills preferred • SAP experience preferred • Exceptional written and verbal communication and organizational skills preferred • Demonstrated experience managing supply chain risk preferred • Budgeting experience and EVM knowledge preferred • U.S. Citizenship required for positions with a government clearance
