📋 Description

• Assess internal computing environments for cybersecurity compliance • Perform security control assessments using methodologies and guides from published standards • Develop documentation, guides, and artifacts to support readiness for third-party assessment • Support documentation and artifact development for NIST SP 800-171 compliance readiness • Collaborate with the CISO mock assessment team on deficiencies, gaps, and trends • Participate in implementation activities and other associated tasks • Conduct domestic travel up to 25%

🎯 Requirements

• Principal level: 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 7 years with an Associate's Degree, or 9 years with a High School Diploma or GED • Senior Principal level: 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 10 years with an Associate's Degree, or 12 years with a High School Diploma or GED • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret level security clearance as a condition of continued employment • Experience with NIST 800-171 or NIST 800-53 security frameworks • Experience conducting security control assessments using published industry-standard methodologies and guides • Cybersecurity engineering and architecture experience • Knowledge of risk management principles and risk-based approaches • Experience interpreting and implementing security compliance standards and GRC policies and procedures • Knowledge of current and emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and controls • U.S. citizenship required for positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions • Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, CCSP, Security+, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer, and Azure Solutions Architect • DoD 8570 IAT/IAM Level II or III certification preferred • Experience with system, network, and application security preferred • Experience performing risk assessments of internally and externally hosted solutions preferred • Experience evaluating, designing, configuring, and implementing SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS cloud service models preferred • Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems preferred • Experience in Agile/DevOps environments preferred • Experience with scripting languages such as Python preferred • Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity principles, networking, architecture, servers, systems design, and Identity and Access Management preferred • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Ability to learn and adapt to new and changing business and technical concepts, requirements, skills, and tools • Ability to explain technical details to non-technical audiences
