📋 Description

• Develop and execute integrated customer communications plans supporting enterprise business development priorities • Translate enterprise and program strategies into compelling communication approaches tailored to customer communities and missions • Research customer organizations, decision makers, and mission priorities • Monitor customer news, industry developments, policy or budget activities, and feedback; summarize insights and flag risks and opportunities • Partner with sector and functional communicators to maintain consistent, accurate customer messaging • Build relationships with business development, program teams, government relations, and functional partners • Participate in Customer Relations Team and sector meetings to identify engagement and communication opportunities • Develop and maintain customer communication assets, including key messages, one-pagers, briefing materials, placemats, and fact sheets • Oversee development of leadership briefing packages, executive decks, and other high-visibility customer engagement products • Coordinate trade show engagement, sponsorship opportunities, and related communication materials • Assist the corporate media team with media preparation materials for Customer Relations Team leaders • Ensure communications meet Northrop Grumman standards for quality, ethics, security, brand, compliance, and company priorities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related discipline with 8+ years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree in Communications or related discipline with 6+ years of relevant experience • Proven success developing and executing integrated communications strategies • Experience leading complex, business-driven communications projects in matrixed environments • Executive-level writing and advising skills with a systems-level mindset • Demonstrated success managing multiple priorities and stakeholders • Experience partnering with senior leadership teams • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including intra-office travel within the DC metro area and other sites as needed • Experience in a large, matrixed and/or geographically dispersed organization preferred • U.S. Government experience strongly preferred • Experience in technology, aerospace, defense, science-related business, or government fields preferred • Sound judgment and proven ability to drive change through creative methods and approaches • Must be able to be granted an SCI security clearance • U.S. citizenship required for positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions
