📋 Description

• Source and procure materials and services within Computer IT Hardware & Software commodities • Execute sourcing, price analysis, Commercial Item Determination, negotiations, and procurement processes in accordance with FAR and DFARS • Prepare bid packages, analyze and evaluate proposals, negotiate purchase order provisions, administer purchase orders, and ensure on-time delivery • Evaluate and monitor supplier quality, reliability, and ability to meet delivery schedules in conjunction with the quality organization • Work with internal customers to ensure product and service specifications are appropriate • Identify cost-reduction, efficiency-improvement, and risk-management strategies through targeted negotiations • Manage purchase order performance and ensure compliance with public law, company policies, procedures, and import/export regulations • Interface and collaborate with stakeholders and organizations within and outside Global Supply Chain • Plan, schedule, and arrange activities to accomplish objectives • Assess supplier performance and employ sound business practices during follow-up activities • Review and approve supplier payments, including invoice reconciliation • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and 2+ years of procurement, supply chain, sourcing, or closely related business experience, OR Master's degree and 1+ year of experience • In lieu of degree, an additional 4+ years of experience may be considered • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Willingness to support stretch assignments/projects as directed • Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to keep multiple priorities moving forward • Understanding of federal acquisition thresholds and documentation requirements • Strong understanding of the procurement process in a government contracting environment • Experience with an MRP system such as SAP or Costpoint • Preferred: experience with low to moderate value and complexity purchases, including single/sole source with source controlled drawings • Preferred: experience procuring in an engineering development environment • Preferred: experience in Computer IT Hardware & Software commodities with specifications/configuration requirements • Preferred: experience leading negotiations with suppliers • Preferred: basic comprehension of technical drawings and documents • Preferred: knowledge of government contracting requirements and regulations
